Ethics Statement
DMV Slots adheres to the highest ethical standards. We do not abuse any computer networks. We employ real humans who are paid fairly to help with operations and search for appointment slots for our users.
Our operations benefit the DMV. Canceled appointments are a substantial waste on the states when the DMV already allocated staff and resources to serve these time slots. As we find such canceled appointments to give to users, they are now used by actual residents in need and no longer wasted.
Furthermore, when residents are allocated to canceled appointments, they will not get in the wait lines on DMV systems and use up new reservations. This alleviates the length on the appointment queues for other residents. Moreover, they will not keep logging on and clicking on DMV systems to find appoinments. This significantly reduces strain on the DMV appointment systems and computing networks.
Our operations benefit the people. Long wait times have been a major hindrance and productivity loss for residents, whose complaints have been reported on the news for years. Fortunately, our users often obtain much earlier appointments and save significant time. Our average user saves 4-5 months of their life with our service.
We are not a state DMV agency. Sometimes, a few users out of the thousands we serve might think we are. In these situations, we always explain to them that we're not a state DMV agency. We post this notice all over our website. And we always give full refunds to the users that thought so.
We do not engage in scalping. Scalping is a practice employed by some to reserve DMV appointments for themselves, often with fake information, and later sell them to customers. This is an unethical act and is illegal in many juridictions. We reject such practice and we make no reservations to the DMV systems.
